The Anti Cultism Unit of Rivers State
Police Command on Thursday, July 16, 2020, exhumed three decomposing bodies from Bera community forest of Gokana local government area of the state.
The police also arrested two notorious cultists who led them to a shallow waterlogged pit where their victims, Baridomale Sunday Tor, Barisition Nawee Baridon Gbarabera, were buried alive with their mouth and hand-tied to their back.
According to the command’s spokesperson, Nnamdi Omoni, the three victims went missing on March 14, 2020.

The suspects, one Mr. Prophet and Barididum Dabama aka kill and bury, allegedly confessed to the crime, stating they killed the victims for informing security agents of illegal oil bunkers.
