Not less than five people have been arrested in connection to the shooting of the pop star, Lady Gaga’s dogs walker, Ryan Fischer and stealing of her pets.
Lady Gaga’s dogs Koji and Gustar were stolen while away filming a movie in Rome in February and then had put out a published appeal on social media for an act of kindness to return back her pets.
Ryan Fischer, her dogs walker was shoot during the attack in February. After this, a lady returned the two dogs to a Los Angeles police station and was apprehended. Miss Asia managed to escape but was later caught nearby.
According to the Sky news, the lady who returned the dogs faces one count of receiving stolen property and one count of accessory after the fact.
It was believed those arrested suspects didn’t know those pets belong to the pop star, Lady Gaga.
District Attorney George Gascon said in a press release, “Evidence suggest that the suspects knew the huge value of the dog’s breed and was the enough motivation for the stealing”.
Four of the arrested suspects were known street gang members while the fifth is the woman who returned lady Gaga’s dogs to police station in Los Angeles.
All the five suspects were held on $1m bail each according to Guardian.
Three of the suspects, James Jackson (18), Jaylin (19), and Lafayette Whaley (27) were charged with one count each of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and secondary degree robbery, while, Mr Jackson the accused gunmen,also was charged with assault and weapons offence according to Los Angeles district attorney office.
After hearing the good news, the delighted pop star, Lady Gaga gave $500,000 reward out for her pet returns.
Lady Gaga’s dogs are now back to the owner.
